Tungsten and Molybdenium Bars

 

 

 Molybdenum Bars
  • Specifications: 16 mm < ø ≤ 150mm.
  • Properties: Good Eletric conductivity; resistance to oxidation and corrosion; good plasticity for machining high temperatures.
  • Applications: Mainly used as making high temperatures resistant structural parts after being forged and machined; used for stirring bars & electrodes in the industry of the smelting of rare earth metals.
Tungsten Bars
  • Specifications: 16 mm < ø ≤ 100mm.
  • Properties: Good Eletric conductivity; a high melting point and good resistance to high temperatures; a rather strong resistance to oxidation and electrochemical corrosion.
  • Applications: Mainly used as making high temperatures resistant structural parts after being forged and machined; used for stirring bars & electrodes in the industry of the smelting of rare earth metals.

Molybdenum Bars and Wires
  • Specifications: 0.04 mm ≤  ø ≤ 16mm.
  • Properties: Good resistance to high temperatures and oxidation.
  • Applications: Used as Lamp foot, lead bars and wires inlight source industry, heating wires, electrodes,etc. Big bars are normaly used as stirring bars & electrodes in the industry of the smelting of rare earth metals.
Tungsten wires and bars
  • Specifications: 0.1 mm ≤  ø ≤ 16mm.
  • Properties: Good resistance to high temperatures and oxidation; characteristic of easy arcing; stable arc flame; deep smelting lake and less ignition loss when they are used for making electrodes;  
  • Applications: Used as stirring bars in rare-earth smelting industry; electrodes in eletric arc smelting industry & tungsten lighting elements in the industry of electrical lighting sources.
